On 30th March, 1915 the 1st Scots Guards of 1 Brigade, 1st Division moved to billets in Le Touret and Richebourg-St Vaast where they stayed until 3rd April at which time they took over some nearby trenches. However, the machine-gun section moved into these trenches on 30th March, coming under Brigade command, and it is likely that Henry Brown, who lost his life on 31st March, was part of this section. |
